Are you struggling to be productive in your Home Office? Perhaps you need a creativity boost!
Are you anxious or distracted when it comes time to come up with new ideas or something to say? Are you lacking the mental energy to create something from nothing?
If you work from home there’s a good chance you are tasked with coming up with ideas and could benefit from some inspiration.
Look around. What colors stand out to you? Any orange or yellow?
Yellow and orange promote inspiration and mental energy. They’re also a great accent color for a room that is predominately blue or gray.
Try adding orange or yellow to your office in a spot that will stand out.
This could be fresh-cut flowers, a lamp, or a work of art.

Pro Tip for creating a home that delights you:
Do you feel anxious or overwhelmed in your Home Office?
Take a look around. Are there stacks of paper and clutter on your desk? Is there a pile of stuff on the floor you’ve been meaning to put away for months? Is your office used for storage?
It’s time to clean that sh*t up my friend!
Really. Remove what you don’t need. Clear out anything that isn’t used for your business.
Clutter in your space is clutter in your mind. It’s distracting and can cause anxiety.
Create some space! Doing so will take a load off your mind. You’ll get to stop thinking “I really need to clean up in here one of these days”, as you let out a sigh…
Instead of feeling guilty and overwhelmed, you will gain space for feelings that will help you with your work like clarity and creativity.
So. Dig in and get ’er done! You’ll feel better!

Meet the Artist
Hello! I’m Lisa. I use soft pastels to create bold, vibrant abstract paintings for extraordinary people who wish their home inspired them to live the life of their dreams.
I believe art & color have the power to influence our attitude & energy and, therefore, our actions.
I help you use color & design to purposefully create a home in which you feel empowered so you can create your genius in every room of your home.
I am inspired by color & nature and am lucky to live in Washington State, near the ocean, where nature is abundant & vibrant.
I have been creating art in some form my whole life and have been painting with soft pastels since 2003. I am continuously learning how to use color and design to create a space in which you feel inspired & encouraged to live intentionally.
I am thoughtful & bold in my approach to creating one-of-a-kind pieces that speak to your soul.
When I am not painting I can usually be found enjoying my family, driving a school bus, or daydreaming with my cat Melvin.
